Know when to reach out, without watching someone.
A daily check-in agreement between independent loved ones. Share one way or with each other, coordinate who plans to reach out, and keep location out of it. HardBeet never receives your device location.

Inside HardBeet
A clear view of each day.
The same calm daily check-in flow on iPhone and Android, with large controls, plain language, and explicit sharing choices.
One clear daily action
A completed check-in is easy to recognize and time-stamped.
Each person at a glance
Check-in status, local time, and one calm suggested next step.
Sharing starts with agreement
Choose one-way or mutual sharing before creating an invite.
How it works
A clear agreement, not a monitor.
HardBeet keeps a daily touchpoint between independent adults and the people who care about them — on clear, agreed terms.
Check in with one tap
Tap “I'm here today” once a day, at a daily time you choose. That tap is the only thing that creates a check-in.
Invite people you approve
Share an invite link or fallback code with someone you trust. The agreement shows who shares with whom, what is visible, daily timing, alert behavior, and how either person can pause or leave. Sharing can be one-way or mutual.
They see today's signal
Approved loved ones see whether today's check-in happened. Times are labeled in the check-in person's local time. Nothing beyond the agreement is shared.
Across borders
Use HardBeet in the language of your phone.
HardBeet starts with your phone language when it is supported. You can choose another language at any time without changing the language of your device.
Built for families in different countries
Each person's check-in and reminder times stay labeled in that person's own local time, which keeps the daily routine clear without sharing where anyone is.
Simple email sign-in
HardBeet sends a six-digit code by email, so there is no password to create or remember. Your email address is not shown to people you connect with.

When a day slips
Gentle first. Always.
Life happens — travel, rest, a phone left in another room. HardBeet is built to stay calm about it.
You hear first
If your daily time passes without a check-in, HardBeet first attempts to send your reminder.
Followers hear one hour later
If there's still no check-in an hour after your daily time, HardBeet attempts to send approved loved ones one clear notification, subject to their notification settings and push delivery.
One person can plan to reach out
After the one-hour grace period, one approved follower can say “I'll reach out.” Other eligible followers see an anonymous plan for up to 30 minutes, reducing duplicate calls without revealing who created it.
Pause when you mean to be quiet
Traveling, resting, or intentionally offline? Pause one agreement for 24 hours or 7 days, or pause all sharing. Other agreements stay independent, and no missed-check-in notification is sent for a paused direction.
Private by design
They see a small daily signal. Not your life.
No surveillance, no live map, no activity feed. The agreement is plain about what's shared — and what never is.
- ✓Whether your daily check-in happened today
- ✓Your chosen daily reminder time, labeled as your local time
- ✓When sharing is paused, so no one is surprised
- ✓An anonymous temporary reach-out plan after an eligible missed check-in
- ✕Device location — HardBeet never requests or receives it
- ✕Messages, calls, photos, contacts, or app history
- ✕Health details of any kind
- ✕Private phone activity — only your tap creates a check-in
- ✕Who created another follower's plan, or any contact or safety outcome
What HardBeet is not
HardBeet is not an emergency response service, a medical monitor, or proof that someone is safe. Notifications are best effort and depend on phones and networks. If someone may need urgent help, contact local services or another real-world support channel directly.
FAQ
Fair questions.
Does HardBeet share my location?
No. HardBeet never requests location permission and never receives your device location. Approved loved ones see only the check-in agreement details described above.
What happens if I miss a check-in?
HardBeet attempts your reminder first. If there's still no check-in one hour after your daily time, it attempts a single notification to approved loved ones who have notifications available. Notifications are best effort and should never replace real-world contact.
What does “I'll reach out” tell other followers?
Only that another approved follower has a temporary plan and when it expires. HardBeet does not identify that follower or record who was contacted, messages, delivery, replies, resolution, or whether anyone is safe.
Who can see my check-in?
Only people you invite and approve. Each connection starts with a plain-language agreement, and you can pause or stop sharing at any time from the app.
Can followers quiet notifications overnight?
Yes. Followers can quiet overnight notifications or hold them until morning, so a late check-in never turns into a 3 AM wake-up.
What languages does HardBeet support?
The app offers Dutch, English, Filipino, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Urdu, and Vietnamese. It follows your phone language by default, and you can change it inside HardBeet. Legal documents are currently provided in English.
Will HardBeet be free?
Yes. HardBeet will be free at launch while we learn from early users and improve the daily check-in experience.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings → Privacy and account → Delete account, or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Deletion removes your account and associated personal data.
